Winch recommendations

I have been considering a Warn Pullzall and a 3000 watt inverter. The pair weighs less and can be kept out of the weather until needed. There is also a synthetic rope conversion for it if you'd like to save a little more weight and if you're not playing in the mud or snow that day you can leave it at home.

 

X2 on the harbor freight winch. I've used mine numerous times with no issues.

 

Well Im convinced..looks like im getting the HF winch and change out to synthetic line

 

And Smittybilt isn’t?

Warn seems to think it’s worth putting their stamp of approval on it....

You telling me my Harbor Freight isn't gonna make it? :O

 

$70 dollars delivered for a new solenoid box isn't bad. I moved the new solenoid box to a vertical location, sealed the cover with goop and then taped it. I also added a drain/vent to the bottom so water can't pool over 1/4 inch.
