I have been using Paypal since 2003 for ebay and various purchases on websites, TW, Newegg, vendors, and a few online retailers, and many of you have as well. So I just wanted to pass along an experience from this week and hopefully head off any problems for others.

I was emailed and texted from paypal regarding unusual activity on my account. When I logged in, I had to change my password and call their resolution center. Good news, they saw unusual activity and denied it immediatly, I am not out any charges/money. But about 8 or 10 years ago, I got one of their keychain two-step verifiers, which I have not used in about 5 years. Now luckily Paypal recognized that this attempted withdrawal of money came from a suspicious location, and was unusual for my account in general. So what is my point, well although Paypal caught this, I recommend that anyone using paypal add either that key chain verification tool, which i lost like 5 years ago, or set up a two step verification, like I did again with my cell phone.
I don't believe that anyone I purchased anything from on TW or other sites had anything to do with this (at least not intentionally), but you never know who has had their system compromised, so in case you forgot that you can set up two step verification, maybe consider it.

TLDR: Log in to paypal, got to settings, then security, and then choose security key!

    Have a great Saturday!
