Driver Exterior Door Handle Unlock Sensor

Installed LED light bulbs in all the interior lights in the truck cab. Now when I try to lock the doors when leaving the truck using the driver exterior door handle, the sensor does not work until the interior lights time out. Anyone else experience this problem?

 

I didn't realize you can lock the doors. I know you can unlock, but not lock.

 

I’ve been touching the 2 lines on the top left of the handle to lock

 

That's interesting.

 

I read the manual the first day I got my truck and learned this. The lines on top of the handle lock the door.

 

Mine locks no matter where I touch the handle.

 

You can also lock from underneath

 

Dealer did not give you basic "how-to's"? Owners manual?

Where did you order your led’s from? Curious because i have heard of various problems with some and not with others.
