I got that vibe after my ome install.

I agree it was the carrier shim.

Once I installed taller tires, they re-aligned and found that the rear had been out of alignment.

Anyway, it is spot on now and rides smooth and straight.

Gotcha. What tire/wheel setup are you running. The truck looks great!

I had a OME lift put on my truck as well, didnt do carrier bearing drop though. No vibrations. I did do the ECGS bushing at time of lift as a preventative measure though.

I had a very similar vibration with my OME kit. Almost more of a shutter felt mainly when breaking between 25-15mph. Another TW member sent me this video that helped me understand how to measure and calculate the working angles of the pinion. After measuring mine, there were out of wack by 3*. Installed some 3* shims and the vibration as gone.

    Hope this helps.

Just got the 3* shims delivered yesterday and got them installed last night. Very easy and quick install of the Toytec zinc shims! Because I was short on time last night, I have only been able to do two test drives, and preliminary results are GOOD. The vibration/shudder from 30 mph and and slower is completely gone. I started with the CB in the stock position, no spacers, and took it for a test drive. That drive was great except for a hum/vibration that developed at about 55mph and faster. I then installed the 8mm OME spacer that came with the lift kit, and it eliminated most of the vibes at higher speeds. Honestly at this point, I believe that if I handed the truck to someone who had never driven it stock, they wouldn't think there are any excess vibes or noise to speak of. So pointing the rear axle up 3 degrees helped immensely. From here on out I will tweak with washers to try and get it right. If I can't get it perfect, I will take it to a driveline shop and get everything deadnuts balanced. But for now things are 95% solved. Thanks everyone for the advice, and I'll update if anything changes!
