Hey Tacoma World! I am currently in the phase where a rear bumper is on my mind. I wanted to get one for cheap but there really isn't any good options. So I read up a bit and now I have decided to just build one. I've really not seen many write-ups on here anyone done this or have any advice??

There are some but you'll probably have to dig some more or wait for responses.

As noted above, NorthWest Trails has a weld it yourself kit available. What I've done in the past is to use cardboard, hot glue, and tape to build a template on the truck and then cut it apart with a razor blade for patterns. A local weld shop cut up a sheet of metal for me to the patterns which was worth the cost versus using a cutting wheel or reciprocating saw and doing it myself.
