Can I use my stock lug nuts? I searched and found response of yes but that was in teh 3rd gen section.
My truck is a 2015 trd off road 4wd with alloy wheels. It's my understanding that if I had steel wheels the answer would be no. But I believe the alloy wheels lugs should work. I just want to make sure first b/c if I have to buy new lug nuts also, then I'm just going to order the fn fx pros b/c they come with lug nuts.

Also, are there flat center caps for the trd pro wheels like the fn fx wheels?
    Thanks!

Also, will there be any issue with swapping over my tpms to each of the new wheels?

What wheels are you getting? Like what TRD Pro wheels? There are several kinds.

I have the T4R TRD Pro wheels and used stock lugs.

Lug nuts are cheap. I wouldn’t buy wheels just because they come with lug nuts, especially lug centric wheels over hub centric Toyota wheels.

My TMPS switched over just fine. Except I didn’t buy an extra for my spare.

The matte black 17x7 trd pro wheels that come on the 4runners I believe. I'm stuck between deciding if I want to just spend the $788 shipped for TRD pro's or just a tiny bit more on the fn fx pro's and have the 17x8 option. The fn fx's wheels should be hub centric also but have a different style lug nut. Only problem is i'd probably have to wait on the fn's and the trd pro's would be here within the week.

I'll probably never go above a 285 tire with this truck so either will work (I know the 17x8 is what is supposed to be used but that is a whole separate debate).
I like both the flat cap on the fn's and the raised one on the trd pro's so either works but are there any flat caps available for the trd pros like on the fn's?

That is the set I have and I love them. Regular lugs fit.

Unless you want to spend big money balancing your wheels I would not go with an aftermarket lug centric wheel. You will have to buy adapters for each hub and go to a shop that does road force balancing.
If your not a big off roader it just becomes a hassle to get lug centric wheels.

Also I bet you the fb’s are heavier wheels which just reduce power and mpgs. The TRD Pro wheels are very light weight and would fit a 285 well.

It's my understanding the fn fx pro's are hub centric and weigh less than the trd pro wheels despite being 1in wider. I could be wrong and I'm sure someone will correct me if so.

    They could be lighter.

I dig the black TRD Pro wheels the most. But I’m biased.

Well the fn fx pro's are basically the exact same wheel but wider so looks wise it's kinda a wash minus the different style center caps. I will say the design is great. So much so that when I was about the buy the pro comp 7005 wheels b/c they are buy 3 get one free, my wife saw the trd pro and liked the so much she gave the okay to spend basically twice as much on wheels just to the pros haha.

Ahh The fn’s are the knock off. I was thinking of a different wheel.
I would not buy them simply for color. The black is gloss not matte... which will always look bad on trucks. Your tires will not always be a high black gloss so the gloss wheels make the tires look bad.
The matte black blends much better.

I don’t like the gloss, but have heard good things otherwise about the wheels

    Hey guys,

I'd love to here about people who have failed with the 285/70r17 on the pro wheels... I have heard that they fit just fine with a 3" lift. But I'd love to hear someone reference an instance where it didnt work or required extra work.

From what I have researched, the FN FX wheels also have a deeper back spacing than the Pro wheels.
