    I’ve hit my hitch receiver on some of the backcountry roads out here so before I eventually end up mangling up the rear bumper, I started looking into hitch mount skids. Skidmark makes one, as well as RockyRoad. But they were $160+. There were some made by Curt and one other but they were too small.

    Then I came across BA Backbone on 4WheelParts. Product looked promising. So took it out to a local trail and banged it up pretty good. Came away impressed with it. Kept my bumper far from rocks and helped the rear end slide off easier. Anyway, for those looking for something similar before going with a full on rear bumper, this is a good option.

    I have no relation to any companies mentioned. I bought it at full price with my own money. Just thought I’d share.
