OP, not sure if you made up your mind already but let me shamelessly plug my poll. It may help you further...or not. Regardless, it seems to irritate a lot of Sport owners. :)

My sport has done everything I have asked it to do. A locker would be nice in some cases but mine has completed Black Bear Pass and several other Colorado trails with no issues. Get the one you like and don’t look back.

I was in a similar situation when I was deciding on my taco. Ultimately I went with the OR because I prefer its differences more than the sport, plus I go to the mountains almost every weekend. If I want a sporty vehicle, I wouldn’t be getting a truck.

The Sport is a solid truck and is probably the best equipped for general work horse applications. Towing and hauling for instance.

You can say the same thing about the OR.

Towing and Hauling should be no different, I doubt payload capacity and max towing weight is any different between the models.

Except the Sport has the stiffer suspension. Which squats less and is more stable.

I believe the rear springs are the same, should be no difference in squat.

Not true. Springs are variable rate on the OR and progressive on the Sport.

Check the part numbers. 2 sets of leafs for rear suspension. Firm and standard.

Hahahahaha, look at post #168. I may or may not have a forum problem! And a car problem.

Yes, I was on svtperformance. I was just talking to a guy at work tonight about my two cobras! I have been fortunate enough to own some pretty bad ass cars. :)
