    Pretty soon they are going to be using 0 -10 weight oil.. Passed a new Corolla in showroom and it used 0-16 weight oil...

    DIY Fabricobbler.
    Maybe split the difference and just change the oil filter at 5k. Still do the oil change at 10k.

    Obviously you'll need to replenish the oil that was removed during the filter change.
