Well that's only 1 thing, but not being able to count is just kinda Bama tradition, right? ;)

Also, why are there no Auburn fans in here? I want to talk about that last second field goal for the next 6 years.

(That's a joke FOR the bama fans)

Burrows seems to have a bit of cool water running through his veins.

Everyone seemed to hammer Bama for a young secondary. I think they played really well, after the long TD. I suppose nobody cared about Auburn's secondary....Not even Burrows. Will be interesting to see how Auburn responds. They were touted as having possibly the best defensive line in the nation.

LSU has a very talented running back, young, but fierce. (What's new?)

Holy crap FSU. Wow. I'm.....just lost......for words. I dont know if Jimbo left it in shambles (which seems to be the common practice for Florida schools) or if Taggart is just that bad.

I dont know if I'm the only one who feels this way, but the upset with Wisconsin was, I dunno, expected? I know they put up good stats and such, but I've always viewed them as "Almost there". Just not quite all the right pieces in the right places. (Mainly QB, but they've had some LB complacency over the last few years too...)I guess I didnt expect BYU to upset them, but Wisconsin has felt like a team that could drop a game they shouldn't for a few years. They just didnt drop that game. This year they did. It will be interesting to see how they finish.

Arkansas....... WOW. A fake fair catch.

Last but not least, I'm glad I missed Ole Miss' scoring drive....I probably would have cussed and tossed my tv. Tua is special. Alabama WR's are dynamic. A little surprised the passing game didnt open up the running game for more big plays. Jalen....dammit. There is a part of me that wants you to fight your way back, but you keep creating turnovers, bruh. Tua is clearly a better option. CLEARLY, even for my couch-coach ass who cant even heave the pigskin 50 yards anymore. (I can hit a guy in stride on a 20-30 yard crossing route though....with a little heat, ok, 30 yards might be pushing it....I may need him to "make a play"...)

Anyone know what happened to the vols? Were they on a bye already?

Ol Vandy almost stuck it to ND. A bunch of the ND fans up here pissing and moaning about how Alabama plays a cupcake schedule...yet, ND struggled with the worst team (well, maybe, UT might take the cake this year) in the SEC.

I agree with you about Burrow. Guy is no superstar, but he definitely has ice water in his veins. His stats haven't been great at all (15/34 vs Auburn), but he's smart. Smart enough to not make stupid mistakes and poised enough to stand in the pocket. I am happy with him, it's basically all LSU has needed.....IF he can stay that way against Bama.

LSU not having any turnovers helps them every time obviously. Led the SEC in that department last year, doing it again this year.

The looming Georgia game on the schedule bothers me...

You're worried about UGA more than Bama?

I'm worried about both. Georgia just comes first.

When I say worried, I'm not losing sleep, nor is my day-to-day affected at all, but after seeing Ole Piss's defense I think Georgia is the next thing to worry about.

Yeah, Burrows can handle OM's defense. OM however does have a couple prolific WR's. Duderinos are large and athletic.

they are for sure, but Shamoo (Ta'amu) clearly gets rattled in the backfield with a little pressure. LSU's been doing fine in that department, ask Auburn how much they love Grant Delpit (#9)

If the LSU/OM game becomes a shootout, it will be interesting to see how well OM's QB handles it. He got rattled vs. Bama. LSU came through big time this weekend. Pressure situation, on the road. They grew up quite a bit.

Dammit, I hate playing LSU and Auburn...hahahaha

If Jalen wants to redshirt and have 2 years left somewhere else, I hope he does. If he wants to stick around and contribute, I won't mind having a 26-2 starter as our backup. He's not going to work his way back to the starting job unless Tua gets hurt. That much is obvious now.

I want him to do whatever is best for him. He's a good kid and he's taken this incredibly well from all I've heard. Even his public comments that one day in training camp weren't that bad, and were fair.

I hope ND makes it back to the playoffs. I think any of the other current playoff contenders (Bama, Clemson, UGA, tOSU) would obliterate them, and that's fun to watch.

That was an amazing play. I read something (SBNation, maybe?) where they talked to one of the coaches about everything that went into that play. It was pretty slick.

EDIT: Went back and found the article https://www.sbnation.com/college-fo...36/north-texas-fake-fair-catch-punt-return-td

Very intricate planning and a possible dead punt returner :rofl:

Someone will try it again this season or too soon. And it will result in a Jadeveon Clowney type memorable hit :D
