Roll up bed cover, step bar, grill and window deflector, muffler, more, but nothing special
This pertains to the driveshaft 'clunk' when you stop.
I had my driveshaft replaced, under warranty, about 16k miles, for an oil leak.
Today I stopped to check on this TSB and the service manager told me my truck was out of warranty. I would have to pay for it.
Anyone else have this problem or such?

Driveshafts don't have oil in them. Sounds like you got scammed

If the surface where the transmission/transfer case seal contacts it is grooved, it certainly *can* be responsible for an oil leak.

Hello, I had the same exact thing on my 2013 taco PreRunner DCLB, Toyota R&R The Drive line complete for free per TSB,Happened after a Toyota Flush to my Tranny by them and for 3-4 months always happened and Drvline was no cure! I did a drain and fill procedure to check level, only 1 Qt came out, Put drain plug back in and refilled with the Amsoil WS, 3.2 Qts added and all went away for good, I just for extra protection ,redid a 3.2 QT WS Tranny drain and fill with a substitution of a 10oz Lubegard Platinum Fluid protector and 2 oz Dr Tranny Shudder treatment ,so 12 oz less of Amsoil ATF WS and now even shift better, but don't overfill, compensate frome Amsoil ATF use Lubegard 10 oz and 2 oz products and 2 qts plus 26 oz Amsoil ATF and wallah good for another 50 ,000 miles or less ! I do mine every 25-30,000 miles !Drain and fill !

I’ve had this going on in my 2010 Prerunner (79,410 miles) since I got it two years ago. Dealer said it was past the TSB and I’d have to replace the driveshaft - $1,100. Changed the transmission and rear diff fluid last weekend - no more thump.
