Hello All. I'm in process of rigging my 2009 RWD, AT, Pre Runner, SR5 Tacoma to be flat towed behind my motorhome. I will be installing a driveshaft disconnect. What is easiest way to wire the Tacoma's lights to the motorhome lights? The motorhome has separate turn lights and stop/tail lights. TIA Kix

It depends is this going to be a once and done trip??

Then maybe a new life style with ten thousands of miles ??

No light plug on the Motor Home Now ??

I myself Like the idea of just using a light bar either build or buy one .

I use this for towing any vehicles not on a trailer

Sure you can build an adapter harness to plug right into the Tacoma lights but that just adds more connections for problems to occur

I fixed so many of this type over the years I would never recommend it .

Thanks Wyoming09. I plan on towing the Taco several thousand miles over the next few years. The motorhome already has a 7 pin plug. Today I bought a 4 wire with 4 diodes kit from Roadmaster. If you can tell me the wire colors on the stop/tail light and the separate turn light on the Taco it would be helpful.

Also, and help on keeping the steering wheel unlocked AND being able to remove the key too. Thanks Kix

How has this worked out for you. I have a 93 pickup rwd with a standard and would put it behind a motor home. I bet you've gotten pretty fast at the r&r of the driveline...
