Question for my friends out there, was out on a mild trail a few weeks ago and I was making a left turn on a switch back and the back end just started hopping and trying to come around on me down the hill, I was in 4 high. I reversed back up took a little of the angle out of the turn and no big deal. Earlier this week turning right into a grocery store parking lot up a little ramp bounced slightly and the front right tire braked hard, I was in 2. This weekend coming down a switch back on Argentine pass in Colorado, going to make left, same thing back end tried to come down the hill first again and I was getting bad wheel hop. Then just farther down the trail the truck just came to a bouncing stop very roughly, I was in 4 low. Truck felt like it was stuck, put into reverse and rpm increased but no really movement. Put the truck back into drive and truck didn’t want to move, went through full range of crawl control but it back into rock and gave it a little more gas and after loud pop from front end, I couldn’t tell if was from the wheel or at a cv. This was the very end of the trail pulled off back on pavement got under truck, all cv’s in fine shape, drive shafts were ok, no apparent damage, no error or warning light/messages. Has anyone had a similar situation? I’m in a 17 ORDCLB with BP51 and OME leaf pack with SPC uppers, freash alignment and dealship once over with oil/fluids change. Thanks in advance.

Total shot in the dark but if you never re-tightened your u-bolts they often loosen up a bit after install.... which would cause axle wrap which if severe enough you could just be feeling drivetrain binding, seems like you were taking some tighter turns on maybe slightly too traction-able surface.

@Jaque8 that is actually the first thing I did after it happened the first time. The more I have talked to people it sounds like its just the traction control and I need to adjust my driving, last time I truly wheeled and did trail rides I was in a much older vehicle.
