    I have a 2014 5 lug. I did a lift and I’m thinking of throwing some 245/70 16’s. (30”)
What kind of regearing should I perform and how much are those running aprox?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Are you trying to re gear to make the speedo read right?

Yep!! I was also reading about a guy that put some 30X9.50R15 on his 5 lugger and apparently didn’t notice much change (granted they’re only 29”)
I saw some pictures of his truck and looks pretty decent in my opinion.

(New tire diameter\old tire diameter) x old axelratio = new axel ratio

Or you can look into re gearing the final drive in the tranny or something lime the dakota digital. Both will adjust the speedo. You haven’t gone up big enough to notice any power loss so i think re gearing insant really needed

Nice!! I bet it looks awesome! How much did you pay for the whole re-gearing?
I heard it is more complicated to regear a 5 lugger, is that true?

No different from regearing a 6 lug. Honestly it's cheaper since we only have to do the rear diff. I'm running 4.56 on 33s.

Nice! How does it handle now?
Can I ask how much you paid? I’m trying to get it done but I’d like to have a ballpark price.

well you might be in luck . I got rid of my 2015 5 lug. and have lots of stuff . just haven't bothered to take pics and post yet. I have a 3rd member from east coast gear with 456 and arb locker with a strict maintenance changed oil every 10000 miles. not to mention the break-in changes it has 40000 on it that is 5 changes in 40000 .dealer show 1 change in 35000 for rear end so its is in very good shape. will trow in the oem rear locker switch and arb locker compressor. shipping will be expensive as it weighs a lot. at the time of purchase it was 2100.00. if you interested. PM.

Thanks ! and it was pretty pricey due to buying a whole new member with a locker. It was roughly 1500 if I remember right. And it wasn't so bad to replace. Just a whole bunch of youtube lol

@B ill y I may be interested in some of the things you have. Could you pm pics of the topper, lift and the wheels? I'm in Lee county, just a an hour or so south of you.

this may be the longest time gone by to a reply ever. sorry . not intentional . if you still interested the topper is black 6ft bed I gave away the rear add a leafs but still have the front spacers .and the road master helper springs witch also give so lift. still have the 5 tires 31x10.50 15" big ko2 half the tread left, spare is new and the 5 wheels but they have been separated so they need remounted and balanced.
