    Ok, I got mine working without the TechStream. I got my part directly from Roseville Toyota in the Bay area. It was the V5 harness.
    Indeed moving it from 6 to 7 and 8 makes the alarms go off and smart key has to be greater than 15 feet apart.
    My Taco is the TRD Pro 2018 model. I wanted this option from the factory but the short supply of trucks is you get what they give...
