    Hey there,
Just traded in my '11 Highlander for this '18 TRD Pro. I've ordered a tailgate lock and need to get some locking lug nuts. Any advice will be appreciated.

All a thief does is pound on a socket that just barely fits over the lug to remove it.

Yes, it makes noise, but the point is if someone is trying to snipe a full set of wheels/tires it's not likely they'll be doing it in a noticeable place anyway.

Thanks, @Clearwater Bill- So, not worth putting them on as a deterrent in your opinion?

In my observation owners are more likely to lose or strip the 'key' and have to take them off that way (or at a tire shop, or weld a nut on the end) and destroy the lockers than having a thief do it for them.

Deterrence is in the eye of the beholder or potential thief. Only you can chose what you feel comfortable with. I've used them in the past, and just found them more annoying than anything.
