    Thanks. For $8 each its a worthwhile modification. Definitely like having additional bed mounted toe downs.

    It’s more like marine grade carpeting, if I had to compare. Liquids actually make their way through. Hose, pressure washer, etc will clean out most items. The leaf blower works well for debris too, like mulch. It is attached to the bed via Velcro.

    You would actually be surprised at how well it holds up. I haul firewood, rocks, engine parts, camping equipment and dirtbikes. None of them have caused any damage at all to it. It's easy(ish) to remove if it gets that bad and shake it out and vacuum. The rear storage compartments have to be removed to get it out but it's not that bad. And it's SO much better on my knees.

    The only thing that is a pain to remove is dog hair.

    hat he said. I don't have a rubber mat, or a rug. I used the bed, and it get's hosed out at least twice a year, or if it got bad. Then Ig ive it some Armor All to make it pretend to be new. I put everything in it as is, but I don't camp in it either. To hold stuff in place (that is not a tie down item), I use the bar in the picture. Used to be, I could only find them at Tractor Supply. Now, you can find tons even on Amazon - Here is a link;
    https://www.amazon.com/Reese-Explor...37318504&sr=8-4&keywords=ratcheting+cargo+bar

    They have articulating rubber feet on both sides, so you can do angles.

    And if you are careful with tightening the ratchet handle, will probably last a life time..

    And when you got your big stuff, it just gets out of the way. On a payload thread, I posted these pics regarding load. They didn't hurt the composite a bit. Nothing I have ever carried has ever caused more than a scratch.

    I have that BAK tonneau. Second Tacoma with one. Love it. Hardly leaks winter or summer.
