I'm looking for a way to have a couple of low watt LEDs turn on when I open the lids of my tool boxes. I've found some cheap kits that include magnetic switches, but I just don't trust them... they don't look like the type of gear that would hold up over time in rough conditions. Also looked at door jamb switches, but most are vehicle specific and look like they would take a fair amount of rigging to work on a tool box. Any ideas? I'm hoping this is a common deal with a proven fix. Thanks in advance!!

What about something like a refrigerator light type switch.

That could work. I'll check it out. Thanks!
