    For me, a few things:

    - I like to carry a "dumb" key when I'm out biking, kayaking, etc. It's just a steel key without a chip, which won't start the truck, but will give me access. I leave the main key locked in the truck, as I don't want to get it wet, break it, or lose it. Easier to do this with a regular key than a smart key (you could turn it off or use a faraday bag that may or may not work. Both are annoyances).
    - Getting to work, I always seem to be right in the middle of a new story. I know you can push to turn off the truck in "D" which leaves the radio on, but I always forget. I'd rather just turn the key once to turn off the engine but leave the radio on.
    - I'm less likely to be more mindful of where the key is when I have to take it out and use it. Numerous times, I've gotten in the truck only to realize the key is still hanging on the hook inside the house.
    - And overall, I'm old school. I like turning that key.

Admittedly, these are all minor. I could live with either key systems. Just slightly prefer a regular key.
