3rd Gen Magnetic Gray Thread

Just picked up a TRD sport 6MT. Literally saw every single post in this thread before pulling the trigger on an MGM, love the color more everytime I see it

 

Did you follow a write up or just figure it out yourself? Is it wired to the head unit? Stock or after market?

 

Love these wheels every time I see them. Still bummed they re-released them a month after I bought my Fuel’s.

 

New to the group. This is my new 2018 MGM TRD Off-Road. It’s been leveled with 5100’s and rims are Pro Comp Cognito with BFG KO2 265/70r17. More mods to come.

 

Purchased my 2018 TRD Sport two weeks ago. First truck ever, finally was able to buy a tacoma after 10+ years of wanting one.
This forum is going to make me broke.

 

Got the archive garage shackle flip installed! I was able to remove my 2" block and still be at the same height.

I was really close to getting that bumper but decided to buy a cbi t3 with the full hoop, looks awesome!

 

Nice to see a SoCal MGM on here. I am in the process of contacting dealerships and it looks like I will be heading up to Freeman Toyota as well. Do you remember who you worked with? They have great prices on their Tacomas.

 

Do you have a side pic? Been looking for a MGM DCLB lifted with a cap on the back. That’s a tough combo to find.

Yeah I’ve got 285’s. Had the sport wheels for a while too, but swapped them.

Thanks - thinking hard about the cap. Looks great in yours. Lift is 2.5” up front.

Looks sick, whats the details? Like tire size and amount of lift from the icons. Any other pics?

 

Thank you. I’m getting about 2.75” (maybe a little more) lift in the front and about 2” in the back with the Icon leaf pack. I also left my overload spring in place. It sits pretty much level with it sitting about a quarter to half inch higher in the rear. I’m happy with the stance and the ride quality.

The tires are Mickey Thompson Deegan 38 MTs in 285/70R17.

Anybody know of a place to purchase the 17" toyota TRD matte gray rims for under $750?

 

Sometimes you just got to pass on buying fake bead locks. New to me, wheels thrown on today.
