Got this email today. I started to scan it with a wishful hope that it would say they were finally pushing out Android Auto / Apple CarPlay to us. Alas they're actually taking features away. I don't really care as I've never used any of these apps, but it left me shaking my head. I have to think they could push those out to us if they just made it a priority and worked with Apple and Google to make it happen. I'll never get why they don't think it's important enough to get it done. Screenshot_20180919-162900_Gmail.jpg

It could be a licensing issue. May not be a cost issue either. Some products are licensed with exclusivity so maybe that is involved.

I felt the same way. The thought of calling it an "update" didn't even sit right with me...more like a "downdate" lol.
It's weird, I think the apps are useless too.
I'm pretty confident that 3rd gen or older won't see Apple/Android...maybe 4th gen.
Any word on 2019 getting it yet?

What's privacy? Like our phones aren't already tracking every single thing we do anyways.

I didn't even know about this app till last week. And I wouldn't even use it from the sounds of it. I would love it if they pushed Spotify though.
