Hello gentlemen and ladies. Apparently I setup an account on here when I bought my truck nearly a year ago, but I completely forgot about it and I am just now introducing myself.

I noticed there was some debate about what constitutes NoVa, and I consider where I live in the Kingstowne area of Alexandria to be part of that.

I've got a 2017 TRD Sport DCSB with TRD Pro grill and skid plate, which is powder coated black. When I get to the point of needing new tires I'd like to get black wheels for it as well....maybe the SEMA TRD Pro wheels or the FN FX pro. I am looking at doing a suspension to slightly raise and level it. Are there any good shops in the area that focus on, or have lots of experience with, Tacomas? A friend of mine mentioned a place in Chantilly called High-Tech Auto and Truck Center as a place a lot of Jeep owners go to.

I appreciate any thoughts/suggestions you may have, and hopefully I'll get to meet some of you in the near future.

Welcome! Have you given any thought to the SCS wheels? Also, keep in mind that the TRD Pro wheels (T4R) are only 7" wide while the FN FX Pro is 8".

Yes, I am tracking the difference between the TRD and FN wheels. I've got some time before I have to actually make the decision.
I have looked at the SCS wheels...I like the Stealth6. The only thing that I'm not sure that I like is the depth of the lip of the wheels. I'll have to look at more pics on trucks to see if it grows on me.
I only expect to go up slightly in size on the tires (265/70/17)

Nah she has a forester but i forgot how much fun they are to drive and a couple of my buddies have them. Subies and Tacoma’s everywhere in the north west!
