Update...

got the truck at my brothers house to never be touched again.

coilbuckets on both sides are cut and cleaned out, still need to flap disk some more spots and really clear out the fender wells.

this weekend ill be getting the towers tacked together and mocked up on the truck before they are burned together.

also bought some 3.0 pure race bypasses, hopefully get here this weekend.

but who cares about plans, time for pics

thank god lol paid for this new kit and half of my front bypasses lol almost had to buy another truck to put the old kit on lol

 

update, classic fasion i havent touched it besides cutting the passenger side out and did a fast shock test to see if things will clear inside the arms. waiting on wheels to get here then i can roll it to finish it up.

 

burned in, need to get the arms painted, some more hub parts, and order my beadlocks and she will be a roller, then will be sent off to get a cage.

then decided to strip the interior..


trucks jank as hell but thats all dandy to get it to tommy for him to cage it this weekend.. this truck is getting expensive....

trucks back from getting caged. Full 2" SCORE legal. ordering seats this weekend then will be starting the engine cage here soon after seats are in. after that trucks getting the rear stripped to go back for the backhalf.

Yeah bud I gotta say this is a phenomenal build you’ve got going. Congratulations.

 

slowly but surely, welding the inisdes of the shock towers, clearing the frame for the oil pan and then its ready to go back out to be finished. Only big parts thats left is the holley efi, rear diff, axle shafts, trans and dash.

Long over due update, so I will be doing the backhalf, current render of what is to come. Gatlan Haddon will be laser cutting my backhalf section, I’ll be making the connection tubes from that to the cab and frame.

shocks are fuckin yuge, shock mounts will be fun to make on this... link mounts are on their way in so I can hang this thing and get it squared up.

 

Step 1. Find Trophy Truck.
Step 2. Cut Trophy Truck in half.
Step 3. Bolt Trophy Truck onto back of Taco
Step 4. Profit?
