Wow, this thread is fantastic. I've already measured a double and access cab for the sliders that I've been designing, but it's awesome to have a reference to verify all of my hole measurements.

Thanks to the OP as well as everyone that helped verify his information.

I know this was a long time ago but do you remember how much this project cost you. I'm trying to decide whether to make my own or buy some.
    Thanks!

I'm about $450 into my set including cutting costs. No powder coating yet.

Man, it’s been forever. My frame plates were $120 cut and bent IRRC.

Overall length ultimately depends on how you want to terminate the slider near the fender openings. But around 7’ is a good estimate.

Just plotted out the Template print file and it's spot on (didn't do any scaling, just changed the plotter to spit out a 32" x 60" page). thank you so much for these resources!
I'll give it a go with the old grinder and see if i can make them myself.

I just ordered a set from a local fab shop. $120 for the pair. Should be ready in a couple of days and I'm stoked to get them made up.

Ok so a couple dumb questions. Let me start by saying I'm using the DCSB files from just a few posts back for my project.

Anyone have a list of required hardware including bolt sizes and lengths, quantities, etc?

Secondly, since I haven't moved forward much with the project yet I'm curious about the two extra spacer plates for the rear frame plate, what are these for? Does the frame do a wierd jog or are these for getting around a current obstruction?

Looking to get a set cut and formed here at work and trying to know as much as I can before going in blindly. Thanks in advance!

My (horribly written) 3rd Gen build thread may answer a few questions. But if you look at the front half of the frame you'll see an X shaped plate with a bump in it. The spacer plates are to clear the bump.

Picked up my plates last week. Got the passenger side done for now. I may go back later and add a diagonal piece from the rear mount to the back of the slider but i'm not sure it's necessary. These things are super heavy. I spray painted them black and welded end caps onto the square tube after these pics were taken. The passenger side took me all day on Saturday. I'll do the drivers side next weekend. The hardest part was getting the angles right for the round tube that connects the outer tube to the inner square tubes. Notching and cutting isn't easy when you're working in your garage without all the "right" tools and you're cutting angles with a 4" grinder.

Sorry new to writing post on TW. So I don’t know how to tag the OG of this thread, @1boredclerk but is there an updated pdf to fix the hole alignment? This is in reference to the first couple pages. Thanks
