Dtc help

Hello,
Just finished a 900 mile trip yesterday that ended in me driving through some good rain storms from tropical storm Florence and all is fine... start the truck this morning and all of a sudden I have a Trac control light and check engine light on???? Go to advance auto parts and the "oh so helpful" staff read the etc and write down codes c1201 c1256 and c1440. No explanation just take the tool and leave.... I have no idea where to start and could use some help or give me a direction for troubleshooting. Thank you.

 

If you google Tacoma code c1201 and then the other codes it will tell you what it is. It all sounds like something either the dealer or a good mechanic should look at now not later.

 

Sounds like a ABS issue.

 

C codes are communication codes. Everytime the CEL comes on the trac lights comes on too.
