so I think everyone is prepping to go to San G. I'd like to go for just the day tomorrow but after my carwash this afternoon, my door lock fuses popped again, so the key fob doesn't work and it won't even lock using the controls on the driver side, so I'm gonna have to go back to the dealer for the 2nd time tomorrow. Something is popping it and we can't figure it out.

it happened about 10 minutes after. I can only assume its the car wash. The first time it happened, two nights before that, I was purposely spraying water on my 3rd brake light just to see if I have the water leak issue and I did. So when I went to the dealer, it was just perfect timing that it was messed up so they logged it in as another reason for service.

Dealer asked me that too. I have a full sound system setup and my dash cam is hardwired and it has a switch. It was done professionally by a shop and that was July 2017. Everything was fine until recently.

These trucks have extremely sensitive electrical systems. Either one of those could be causing the issue. The 3rd brake light leak would have nothing to do with this issue. I know there have been issues with hardwiring the dash cam to the rear view mirror wiring and the dome light.

I'm completely new to offroading. I've never been offroading as the driver, but a few times as a passenger. I got the truck to get into **********, but I'm excited to meet more truck people and drink some beer.

Please, for your own good, do not openly use the term “overlanding” until you come to a few brewery meets.

Most active SOCal members are in Big Bear this weekend for a meet but just trust me.

Agree with this on many levels. Applicable to a lot of facets of life. Don't have a ton of money to invest in my truck but hope to make the most of it.

Oh I definitely will not be buying crap and driving to Starbucks. I'll only get what I need and maybe sliders because I want to have a step up anyway.
