    Gonna be a real buzz kill today, so I might not post much. Losing a friend is tough, human or animal....But dogs (pets) rely on us so much, and I feel a sense of obligation to do what's right for them. Never mind what I want....I can't make this dog suffer another day for my own selfish reasons. She's been far too good of a friend. I have a million stories for every pet we have, but Nikki was the one who sat with me for hours on end while I was going through my own cancer troubles. Sandy would even have to feed her on my lap because she wouldn't leave my side.

    My dad was old school, tough as nails, and never let anyone see him get emotional. Just the way he was....The ONLY time I EVER saw him cry was when his Schnauzer, Dutch, passed away. Dutch sat with dad after his quad bypass surgery. They were like 2 peas in a pod after that. The bond you have with a favorite dog is hard to explain. Got a feeling I'm gonna take this really hard.

    Thanks everyone for your thoughts and sympathy.

    After a full typical day of driving the Green Bean, I'm so happy with the new tires & 5100's up front. Ride is 200% better. Firm, but not stiff and very tight feeling and responsive. Can't wait to get off-road.

    Amazed at how quiet the new Coopers are.
