I have noticed my E brake sticking in the rear during cold mornings but never thought much about it since it was the "norm". Well it was happening on cold starts the past few days in 95 F humid weather and would take me racing up to 1000 rpm (fast in this truck) before the truck would move then it would release after 20-30 feet. So today I decided I would get out and giggle the hoses as it helped during the cold days and found this... the cable was torn I assume from my last trip to Jambo flexing and was getting water in the hose causing the drum to stick. Has anyone had this issue? I'm running Dakar leafs with Fox 2.0 w/ re for 3-5" lift. I have a e brake bracket drop but I guess I'll just have to remove the hanger and hang some type of spring or band.

FWIW I cut that bracket off and just leave it hanging, so I don't flex and tear it like you. Never had any issues with rubbing.
