    Sucks you had a horrible experience at Gresham Toyota. Looks like you found your new go-to at Tonkin. -- I'm currently at Beaverton Toyota waiting for the 0062-18/0058-18 TSBs to be taken care of. I think I finally found an advisor who knows what the hell is going on. Fingers crossed.

    Everything came from Lowe's. It was very easy, about three hours start to finish, including painting.

    I just separated the seat mounts from the track by drilling out the press fit connectors and tack welds. Then placed the square tubing in between and bolted it back together using grade 8 bolts. I have no idea if this is as sturdy as the factory setup or not. But, with three 1/4 inch grade 8 bolts per track, I'm confident in it.

    Changed the angle of the bottom seat by 4 degrees. Is perfect now. And these also came in. Prepping and bed lining today. Thanks Eddy @sos. Stout stuff. Guy at fastenal wants a set, told him I'd stop in when they were done. Probably not gonna go on until next week, stupid work and rain. But sexy af CE6562A5-9DC3-4824-976F-E2FD615EA0FA.jpg

    I drove the Dempster Highway through the Yukon and NWT last February all the way to Tuktoyaktuk on the Arctic ocean on Blizzaks. We drove on the MacKenzie river on polished ice and the grip was so good I let my 13 year old son drive. Blizzaks are awesome.

    It looks good only item I wonder about is at the back it looks like you used the bolt as a stand off with the nut to set the height and the "shear" strength is not that good where the thread is exposed like that, consider making a spacer that the bolt runs all the way thru if that is the case and that will make the bolt work as intended.

    I need to cut the excess bolt off, what's visible is just the portion of the bolt that is beyond the nut. The nut can't be seen, it's up inside the seat mount. The bolt runs through the seat track, through the square tube, through the rear seat mount, then secured with a lock washer and nut.

    Ah OK with those details now visible You Did an Excellent Modification that should pass any stress test with flying colors because the working load is being applied to the bolts correctly. (too many times I have seen people use the Bolts as stand off and they were bent)

    Alright guys, crowdsourcing opinions here. I am working on modifying my current Mobtown Offroad rear bumper into a high-clearance with dual swingaways for stuff. I already tackled the problem of fitting 2 gas tanks, a propane tank, and a 35" tire without blocking the brake lights [kind of]

    Now I want to see what other things I can cram onto it. I want to mount the hi-lift on the back (overland status of course) but it looks bad either way. Thoughts? Horizontal? Vertical? Angled? Should I just keep it in my covered and secured bed so it doesn't rust and break when I actually need it?
