Kinda feel bad for the guy. As much as i hate jeeps, that dude didn't deserve for that piece of shit to completely fuck him over.

    From Wikipedia:
"The apparent cruelty of the ichneumonids troubled philosophers, naturalists, and theologians in the 19th century, who found the parasitoid life style inconsistent with the notion of a world created by a loving and benevolent God."

I was too scared to kill this one. That damn stinger was 4-5 inches long. Could have went though my boot. (I mean it probably wouldn't have, but I wasn't testing it.)
That damn thing looks like it came strait our of hell. I see why they thought that

I'd sue the hell out of Chrysler. Then use the money to buy a Toyota.

They were not that good before fiat bought them and are even worse now. I do love the old yj's and cj's. Those vehicles are like legos for grown ups. Plus the comanche is a damn good little truck and the zj grand Cherokee is one of the best offroad SUVs made and the strait 6 in them is a bulletproof motor. You still see plenty on the road pushing 300k. I wish that company would come back. They made good vehicles. Now it's all shit in the lineup.

I read on another forum they suspect since he was driving through dried sagebrush all day it got packed up on a cross member and caught fire. They said Jeeps have a problem with this and have just burst into flames in traffic. OIIIIO:bananadead:

From what I've read, they only use that thing to inject eggs and some venom into their host. Then their eggs hatch and feed off the host, until the host is eventually killed from the inside. Sounds metal as fuck.

Well I didnt need no venom or eggs in my foot. Even when taking the pic, I kept my distance. I've run across many rodents and spiders and the occasional snake in my job. Black widows love hiding in the electrical boxes of pit leveler and dock locks and have ran up my hand many times. But they are mostly harmless unless you hurt them or there eggs. It's never bothered me. Even wasp are a constant problem when taking down old dock shelters. Been stung more times than I can count just this year. None of those things really scare me. But this spawn of Saten; I wanted nothing to do with. No one on the job wanted to go near it

I can relate this was my Jeep before I bought my Tacoma. Had is for about 6 months and about 14000 miles on it. We were on a trip to south La and on our way back. Took it off roading a bit down there and cleaned it up before leaving to head 600 miles home. Got off the exit about 300 miles into our trip and stopped at a light and boom. Come to find out Jeep had a recall for a cross member that was stamped and it held stuff. The recall was to change it out to a tube. Well that made me even more mad. I got the Tacoma after that since the wife said no more jeep jk’s. I got another TJ like I had. Before as a toy now. I’ll keep my Tacoma as my daily. My current red Jeep. My old green Jeep and my burnt up blue jk.

Anyone have Toyota driveshaft bolts laying around? Need 4 for the 4runner. Or any m10 DS bolt should be fine
