Locked. Just put a padlock through the eyelet.

Oh, I misunderstood then. I thought you were talking about the rear hatch and windoors.

Those are lockable as well and the lock is built in - they come with keys.

Haha, that's right. Almost forgot about those.
I guess I just took it out of context then - the picture from the inside led me to believe you were saying the hatch/windoors could be locked from the inside.

you can lock the back window when inside. i did it when i camped in the bay area when i picked my drifter up. had a heart attack the next morning when i was unsure how i was going to get out. if you roll the window and scream down all the way you can lock and unlock the rear window. saved my ass!

I used Velcro aswell except I spray adhesive backed both sides of my reflextix with carpet so I only needed the hook side on the window

Has anyone put one of these on a first gen Tacoma? If you have, I would love to see pictures.

Just for test fitting. We’ll have one on @SeekingZero ’s very soon.

This truck is belongs to someone who stopped by the shop to check out our campers. We threw @tyfoon11 ’s in- process camper on there.

The potential customer was stoked to learn that this camper is compatible with 2nd and 3rd gens.

I've looked and haven't seen this answered anywhere.....can you close the camper top when the bed platform is slid forward and the mattress is folded in half(party mode)? Or does the bed need to be deployed(sleeping mode) to have room to close the top?

The bed needs to be in sleeping mode to close. Thankfully it only takes about 5 seconds to change modes!

What is the length of the mattress? Are there two size options? One long mattress that touches the rear end of the vehicle and one size that stops prematurely to be able to get in/out of the sleeping area?

The mattress seems to look longer than 80 inches.

Yes I know its two pieces. But the area where you get in/out of the sleeping platform can you have a mattress that is little longer than 80 inches?

There is only one mattress length at this time. I camped one weekend without it and the next with the extension. I found it to be useful in that I could move the mattress forward some and still have a usable area off mattress to hold stuff. I'll take some photos later today.
