is there a way to turn off the low air pressure light on the dash when you change to a after market rim without TPS?

Can't you just put the sensors in the new wheels?

This seems the most logical thing to do. I've had other vehicles in the past that I had programmers for and I could disable the tpms light, but the cost of sensor is way cheaper then a programmer

I bought new rims and tires and they didn't come with the sensors, I kept the stock tires and rims incase I want to put them back on. the light stay off for about the first 50-100 miles then came on and now stays on. May have to go invest in a set of sensors but damn there expensive..... but thanks for the advise
