I have been looking at this as an option to protect my front end without adding a lot of weight or needing upgrades suspension. Is this strong enough to take a hit and not bend and do more damage than good, like the bull bars are notorious for? I live in CO and the drivers here are horrible at cutting me off. I'd like to have something to protect me but don't want to waste the money if its just a fancy bull bar. I don't really know much about this stuff so I'm looking for guidance, please. Thanks folks

Depends how hard of a hit youre talking. Ive moved trashcans with it. I also weigh 220 lbs and stand on it

Just around town to and from work average 20-30ish mph. I get cut off a lot having a stick shift. I do my diligence to stay in the right lanes and keep my spacing and plan ahead but I get 3 to 4 cappy drivers almost everyday if not every trip to and from work. I just want a little buffer to protect me and give them something to consider before trying to cut me off with inches to spare. Im tired of slamming on my brakes cause im afraid of them damaging my stuff and driving off on me cause my trucks a bit of a slug.I just didn't want to spend $300+ on a glorified bull bar. From what I gather this seems to be my best option for solid and affordable. I Ordered mine through the group buy goong on for the month of july, after exhausting my research efforts to insure it was my most reasonable choice. Thanks yall, very much appreciated.

Definite good buy especially with the GB. I got mine Line-x'd and its super solid now from rust and anything else that dares to try.

I think youre making a good decision. Brandon builds everything stout and to last.

Please post pics when you get it installed!

It only took 5 1/2 years post install of my Avid light bar....does anyone know the bolt size/pattern on these? I seem to have lost my nuts for the mounting bolts .....

    (Insert bad joke here...)

Its all good. I tried the 10mm but it was a no go.
When I was at the oil change place I asked them about it and they fixed it. Put on the right bolts ( don't ask me the size I dont know) The bar is rock solid once again.

I’m stoked, just got finished painting and mounting mine today! Ended up using 2 coats primer, 2 coats semi flat black, then 2 coats rustoleum spray-on bedliner. Love they way it looks and feels super sturdy!

Your truck is the same color as mine, I wish I had the hood scoop.
I was thinking about adding the AVID Bumper and Rear to my truck, I really like the way it looks on yours. I wish I would have went with AVID sliders insteads of side steps I bought

Brandon mentioned bolt on tube clamps. Just do a quick Google search to find them. My only question is if they will work with security screws that come with the more expensive light bars.
