I was flying when that happened. Heard a lot of it unfold on the air-to-air channel. Had me pretty worried for the pilots, the SAR helos were talking about looking for parachutes and hadn't found the pilots yet. Really glad they had a pretty uneventful crash.

 

Yes I realized that afterwards....

My wife makes these, and caramel corn from scratch at home. Good stuff! The perks of being married to a homemaking teacher.

I don't think she has one. I've watched and helped her a time or two and mostly you melt the caramel and mix it around in the nuggets or corn and then bake it for some time, and then mix it again, and again with baking in between. Each mixing just helps the caramel coat the corn more evenly, and the baking softens the caramel. Mixing is just done in a bowl by hand, baking is done on cookie sheets. You can use corn pops cereal for the nuggets.. but there is another brand of something like that we use but I can't recall the name. Corn pops works fine though.
