Just got it!! Last guy did a couple things.... some good, some bad.. Jump forward almost 2 weeks, I’ve put on a HS Off-road 2” lift kit with 5100s all around, new springs, and a AAL in the rear, with TRD 17x7” SEMA wheels wrapped in 255-80-17 Toyo Open Country ATs Installed InSight Retrofits HIDs, look friggin' sweeeet Husky Weatherbeater Action onboard
Good evening my NorCal TW friends!!!

So, bought a 07 TRD Sport almost 2 weeks ago now, and been busy making things happen for it... where I’m going with that is my ~2” lift showed up from @HeadStrong Off-Road (ordered Sunday, love the quick delivery and service) today!!! And I could use some help....

I’ve never installed a lift before, and I think it’d be monumentally helpful to have someone (or however many people want to hang and help) to help me get it installed correctly, and in a decent timeframe. And admire everyone else’s Tacos and drink beer and eat pizza.... which I will supply of course!!

Shouldn’t be too hard, struts and shocks came assembled, so don’t need to compress them, just install them, and then a rear AAL and the shocks back there, 5100s all around! Only 2” so shouldn’t need to extend brake lines or mess with the driveshaft...

So, please help a noob out. And enjoy cold beer while it happens!

Not set on a date/time, pretty flexible on making time whenever help is available!!!

    Thanks dudes/dudettes!

Thanks Rob! I think you’re into something there.... I’m just going to give it a little before I do, don’t want to seem like I’m spamming all over the boards :D

Damn, I always forget to look for new threads in the NorCal section instead of just catching up on the main threads. I’m right down the street from Charlie and could have stopped by. I have a similar 2” lift on mine so I’m interested in how your looks and rides.

Pics look great! How do you like it so far?

So far I love it. Gained the height I wanted, tires and wheels look great, suspension so far is very well behaved onroad. Will test them out very soon off-road!!

You dude you should have swung by! @Bigpat_ca came by with his recently lifted taco as well.

Yeah I met Pat last time I was at Charlie’s. I’m finishing up a small custom vinyl project for him. Are you in this neighborhood too or close by?

Yeah dude, I’m very happy with how it’s turning out. Looks much more aggressive, but still generally OEM. Hoping to keep it along those lines!
