Take it back. It's most likely the warped axle. They'll get it right I'm sure.

I noticed mine was really bad at about 500 miles. Haven't had a chance to get it in. It's less noticable now at 2,500 miles. But it still needs to be fixed.

I have a 2018 OR DCSB. I also have the issue with shuttering while braking from around 35-20 MPH. I haven't brought it to the dealer yet. Only 4000 miles on the truck and had it from day 1. Hopefully get it into the dealer in the next week or so.

I had mine in today for what felt like warped rotors (2,500 miles). I haven't seen my paperwork yet since i have to go back tomorrow and get the hood adhesive installed for that issue. However on the phone he said the drums were too tight, so they fixed it. I really would like to see the paperwork to know exactly what they did (showed up at lunch with basically nobody around). Braking is smooth... However, now when i brake, it doesn't make any noise until 10mph and lower it clicks from the rear. Never had that before. Any ideas what's going on there?

I've noticed something similar but different. The truck doesn't shake, but the peddle has a strange feel and sound. I know what warped rotors feel like and this isn't it. Has anyone noticed a sound from around the brake peddle when this happens?

My truck has had this vibration during braking since day one , I noticed that if I put it in neutral while coming to a stop the vibration goes away . Don’t think it’s in the brakes , def think it’s driveline related . Comes in right at 20mph or so during normal braking

I have the same issue , and it doesn’t feel like a brake issue at all . It’s driveline for sure . I am going to book it into the dealer . If I get any resolution I will post up.

I deal with the same issue, I've been in and out of the dealership, they keep trying to pawn it off on me as "that's just the way the trucks are" which I am at a complete refusal to accept. They resurfaced the rotors, which seemed to help, but it's still noticeably there. Had the toyota rep come out and drive it, did some troubleshooting but then I got that same "that's just the way the trucks are" nonsense again. They told me they test drove other TRD offroads, and they all had the same thing so its fine. But I dont think its fine.

Hm, okay. I think I have this. I keep trying to self-diagnose, and every time I do...I randomly find out there is a TSB or it's a "common issue". Bought my truck new a couple months ago, 2500KM on it now.

It's almost as if it shutters...definitely feels weird at times when i'm at lower speeds braking.

My 19 dcsb sport has a vibration while braking 30-0mph. 640miles. Has been doing it since new.
I will be taking it in in a few weeks. I’ll post results.

Definitely notice this in my new TRD Pro. I just hit 1k miles.. thought it would go away after bedding the brakes, but looks like I'll be going to the dealer sooner than later.

This is my 3rd taco and this new pro has had it since day one as did all the others. It seems worse to me now after trading the 4Runner which had the smoothest/strongest braking on any vehicle I have owned. They need to launch those dinosaur rear drums and install modern day disc braking and I think problem will disappear. My 2cents.

At 48K miles I decided to get a brake job. The pads were replaced and the fluid flushed. Crown Toyota performed a resurfacing of the rotors as part of the package. Now that the rotors were resurfaced the shudder is gone.

2018 Sport DC. I noticed the shudder right after buying the vehicle. Scheduled an appointment at 1200 miles. Dealer replaced the front rotors which I knew would not be the fix and it was not. Just took it back at 4500 with the TSB 0023-18 in hand. They said they could feel a slight vibration and opted to replace the rear drums before getting into the rear and axles. Drums are ordered. I will post when the work is completed and tried. Would like this to be the fix but am not holding my breath at this point. Service manger seemed very willing to pursue a solution.

    Update:
Rear drums replaced today. Service manager and I went for a ride afterward and the problem is unchanged. Service manager confirmed that the condition still exists. He is calling in a district rep to see what is next.
    Probably axles.
So far front rotors and rear drums replaced with no change.
Will report back when next fix is attemted.
The vibration at times is very noticeable and unacceptable for a new vehicle especially a Tacoma.

I agree....unacceptable for a new high dollar truck or any new vehicle. Crazy a rep has to resolve this and a tech can’t, Toyota does not realize what a pain in the ass this can be for the consumer.

I have a 2019 TRD Sport and my truck does this intermittent during low speed braking. I got 2500 miles on her now. Have not addressed with dealer yet.
