On the topic of frame rust... do yall fluid film in the winter? I never have on previous vehicles, but with the frame rust history of the toyotas, I'm considering it for #saltSZN

I sort of remember reading on the forum about another product that works as good as Fluid Film but is easier to apply or lasts longer???????

Done. For what it's worth. I mean I didn't see any mall questions so I tried to be fair and answer based on what I see and hear on here.

I should be there Sunday with 3 other yota friends. :)

Also gonna attempt to put my 5100s on Friday. Seems pretty straight forward but any tips and tricks or if anyone’s free and wants to hang/ lend a hand, let me know! Can supply lunch, beer, toilets, etc. :)

I bought this 3 pack of fluid film on Amazon

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B93ZXGS/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and used about two cans to hit the main stuff. Frame, axle, and suspension components and took maybe 20 min. Will be doing again here in the next couple months.

How's the smell? If you had an attached garage would you park your truck in it after using this?

I thought you were messing with me so I looked it up. I was like what the hell is CarMax (automotive dealership) lip balm!?

I wonder why then earlier did the one guy on here say that the FF smells like dead sheep carcasses......odd.

Oh whoops, I meant carmex! Yeah I have no idea. That's oddly specific of him to say.

Do you spray the inside of the frame? E.g., the front boxed sections under the driver and passenger seats? If so how?
