    Like a built in salary cap almost... feels like this is done in order to allow schools with less money to still compete with those big time money schools.

    That wont work in the futbol example though, because the players dont have the choice, unless they retire. It is the club's choice.

    yeah I personally have always felt like academics should get the same treatment as the sports "scholars" do, but alas that is not the case.

    i'm ok with kicking teams like akron, rutgers, florida international and air force to the d2 curb. or expand all the leagues to 12 or 14 if you want to keep more teams.

    I dunno, if I'm KB, FSU is too hostile right now....I'd want a program where I'm the one thing that puts them in contention for at least a Conference Championship. Unless Taggart turns that around quickly at FSU, they aren't contending the the ACC title.
