    I'm nervous now....
I'm currently waiting for the same kit to arrive for installation next week. I'm having doubts now.
Is anyone else having issues with the 3-1 lvl kits? Specific to the pro comp nitro?

    Hey friend,

Quick update. Got the tires re-re-rebalanced but this time at Discount tire and not 4WP. Nothing here - same vibrtation. Took the truck to the Toyota Dealer - no problems with any of the mods - they claim its the tires... also said its normal to have the vibrations reduced when in 4WD since "shift in traction", "it just changes the way the truck is being pushed"...

The vibration occurs at all speed and does not go away be lettiong off the throttle. @silvertxtaco thanks for your advice! This vibration exists before I installed the wheel spacers so we could rule those out (they were the fix for the UCA rubbing)

Pretty much on the same spot - thinking of taking the truck to a different dealer?

    thanks all!

The issue with your vibration im 99% sure is your front diff needle bearing. Look up the ECGS bushing fix on here. Happened to a lot of people (including myself) and that seems to do the trick. There is also a TSB (i think) for this and Toyota should replace the bearing for you, atleast thats what mine did. Personally I currently run a 2.5" toytec lift and 285s on Pro rims and i dont have any issues. but that setup is a bit more pricey then what you want to run. keep us posted in your adventures.

Will do - many thanks! I told the Toyota dealer about the needle bearing but according to them there is nothing wrong with it...

I wish i'd gone with Pro Wheels to take care of the rubbing - not very hapy with the 1.25" spacers...

    Hi all,

its been a while but still dealing with this - 4WP have changed the wheel spacers from the G2's to the Spidertrax - apparently the G2's are not really hub centric! as they said they were initially. Between that and additional tire balancing at discount tire, things improved drastically.

As for the harmonic vibration felt at the driver side I am convinced it has to be the needle bearing - best explanation found at https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/front-diff-vibes-ecgs-bushing-fix.464941/ by far.

Bottom line I will need to do this myself or at a local shop given Toyota will not fix it and even if they'd agree to it they wouldn't install the ECGS bushing but the faulty original one.

If anyone in the Houston Are with a recomendation on were to get this job done would be most appreciated!

    Hi all!

Almost there solving all the issues... got 4WP to install the ECGS and voila! problem solved only thing left to solve is a vibration that occurs on the rear axel between 50-60 mph... at 4wp they changed the tires to stock w/ and w/o the spacers and they claim it remained the same... It almost feels like a balancing issue but tires are perfectly balanced... could be the spacer isn't exactly on its place or a tire defect?

If anyone has had any experience with this please let me know!

    Thanks all!!

Sometimes you have to remember you are driving a offroad vehicle with larger tires.

Would have never thought such simple mods would have so many effects on the truck... doesn't seem logical... went from a 31" tire to a 33" (old school numbers) and a leveling kit....

    That’s not correct.
I’m running Bora 3/4” spacers with no modification to the OEM studs.
