Notice any weight difference with those rims over the steels?

Still a work in progress but this was from my last trip to Kings Canyon before the fires.

Got the new in flippac in 2012. I installed eye bolts under the the steel reinforcements in the fiberglass so I could hang it in the garage when not in use. Built a hoist system in the garage, allows me to take it off or put it on in about 20 minutes by myself. Keeps it from baking in the Colorado sun.

I like what you did here! I built a platform but kept my jumper seats in. Realized after that it's a PITA to access the cubbies. Might steal your idea and rebuild it.

yeah i kept the seatbelts so i can technically still use them if need be (only ever have with my nephew and a car seat) but there is so little room back there i hardly use it anyway.

Im going to say something I thought I would never say...can you safely secure a car seat in the back with your setup? My AC has a car seat hookup behind the plastic trim (right below the rear headrests).

Yeah thats awesome. I struggled with whether or not i wanted to leave the seat back to expose the sheet metal. After driving a few days with it off i realized the road noise was pretty unbearable so I designed mine to utilize the seat back.

I put a blanket held up with some clamps for now, does a better job than stock my wife says.

Until I can afford to properly sound proof it, it will be teh ghetto bare metal. The look is starting to grow on me now :cookiemonster:

@llamasmurf Yeah i actually kinda dug the industrial look of it. I'm really all about function over aesthetics so it was definitely a compromise lol .

I had to remove everything to fit the ARB fridge. The fridge was why it all started to come out, then I realized how much needed to be removed and I could not go back :bananadance:
