    "Speeding" in school zones is a real cash grab. Double fines on anything over 18mph. Real easy to hit the jackpot there.

    They use spies in overhead walkways, guys on mountain bikes and even some dressed up as panhandlers. School zones are photo enforced. You don't even know you got tagged until you get the summons in the mail.

    Construction zones too. A road in my neighborhood was 45 as long as I was living there, until they started redoing the road since the quarry tore it up so much. Plus there was this AT&T scandal... anyway that's beyond the point. They lowered the speed limit to 35mph. A guy posted on FB he got a ticket for doing 42 in a 35 and was fined $1400. Can you fkn believe that? He got a $700 ticket which was doubled because of the construction zone. Ticket was cited at like 11pm too. It was a while ago but i'll do some digging see if I can find the post with the pic of the citation
