I'm new to TW and have been enjoying it since I picked up my 2018 TRD Sport about a month ago. I haven't been home long enough to do any mods yet but I plan on swapping the wheels for TRD Pros as soon as I can. I'm also looking for recommendations on roof racks, especially something that is easy on, easy off.

Yakima, Thule , or rhino rack make a set that is easier to get on an off. Think the weights are around 165. Give or take a few LBs

Are you wanting just cross bars or full on rack? Prinsu makes some good-looking racks. For crossbars, stock works, or I like Yak tracks.

    Somewhere in the Mojave Desert...
    Vehicle:
    2017 Tacoma OR 4x4 (formerly a 1998 SR5 PU, 2002 OR 4x4, 1995 4x4 4Runner, 1985 4x4 Toy PU) ... and RIP’s (rust in pieces) to a Bronco II 4x4 & S10 Blazer 4x4
Prinsu’s are great for heavy loads. We use ours for a over cab RTT, but it’s pretty much a permanently mounted rack.

As far as easy on/off, if you don’t already have an OEM rack attached, you will need some type of posts and rail adapters to use the typical temporary mounting racks like Thule or Yakima since our trucks lack good roof rails.

Thanks for the feedback. Looking for a full rack. Not opposed to permanent but prefer easy on, easy off. No OEM rack currently installed
