I figured he'd get it when he saw MT written in soap stone. And that the bottles were in the empty pile. And that they're much lighter , because they're empty.....

This must be an old military trick, I've seen a few setup like that but I've spent the last 10 years in emergency nuclear service, lots of retired military guys. A few of the repair shops had regular lathes with mig guns attached to the tool holders and rheostats to control everything. I never had a chance to use them but the old guys who ran them alot would really do a great job. Like an earlier post, Great for weld repairs on a shaft.

It's a great machine, I've always used Miller welders but for the money and features why not. I'm just starting out on my own so this should be able to get the job done for a while.

Same here. Miller's for the Tig and wirefeed. Lincoln Classic for pipe welding. Not really brand biased though. Just what I ended up liking

Haven't used it yet needs a new gun, My brother in law picked it up for about 100.00. Tig was my priority and it had to be able to do aluminum.

I have this trailer I built a few years ago and it needed a few things so it was the perfect reason for the tig welder.

Not too bad, welding the bottom section underneath the mount was a little difficult, but I managed.

When do we get to see the final weld?

    Welding tube is my favorite.

You still rocking the Vulcan welder?

Out of curiousity, how come the gusset on the second leg is on the opposite side compared to the other three legs?
