DOT RI covered Taco in white overspray!!!

So I’m not to concerned about being able to have the paint bugged out, but the abs plastics I’m afraid will discolor with any solvent I try to use.
Long battle ahead with filing a state claim, and my insurance won’t waive my deductable until the state contractor claims responsibility!! BS!!

Somebody help. Lol.

Hey man sorry to hear about your DOT paint situation. As a retired professional detailer I have seen this all too often and although DOT paint is a bear it can be removed with an aggressive clay bar and a can of Xyzlene (used separately not in conjuction). Both can be used safely on ABS and both are also safe on your clearcoat. Experience using these methods is key so I recommend either taking it to a local detailer or do a bit of research on these products if you will be doing the clean up yourself.
