If you don’t mind me asking how do you have the pelican cases attached to the rack?

since the classifieds is half chat, half sales, I want to ask, is there a benefit to the bed rack with RTT vs a camper shell? I have a shell and wonder If there's something I'm missing. I'm guessing it'll let you leave it attached and fit in a garage, but any bed gear is exposed, so is there more than garage height?

Not really an advantage, as more or less the ability to leave your tent on and get under stuff. For instance, I am in my tent about 6-8days out of month. For that reason it stays on usually. I myself have gone theu several variations on different rigs. I had a bed rack that was full cab height, with a RTT and a bed Cover as well. That made things easy to pack and keep dry. I do like the camper shell as well, the only thing is how much weight can it support when your bumping down the trail. I think really it’s preference over anything. As I like my setup now, but like you said. I don’t have the space to keep things dry with out dry bags.

I will say that now that I have gone to a half cab height and added a Drawer system in my bed. I am stoked about how compact I have made the rig, it really feels about as aerodynamic as I can make it. However the space between the two is tighter height wise and fitting my fridge on a slide on top of the drawers is not an easy as it could be.

Lastly, hell I keep editing this thing. To be able to bring the weight down is huge on off camber situations
