If you don't mind me asking, what did you get it for? I'm wondering how it compares to the discounts offered (or lack thereof) on the Tacoma TRD Pro's.

I agree about the color (I personally hate it but it’s still a nice 4Runner), just let him enjoy his new truck and eventually miss his Taco!!!

45k. Don't expect a discount on the 4runner pros either.

I'd be in one so fast if I could get a manual.

    Damn I want a manual 4runner.

CONGRATS on the new ride! What is that horrible yellow dealer add-on in the front? LOL! The current Gen 4Runner is nice looking, always liked the older ones until they revamped it, looked like a Soccer mums SUV and then Toyota fixed that. I need a truck bed, otherwise I would have shopped a 4Runner Off-Road myself given it was the same price as my TACO.

Gotta play the dealer game. Took me over a month but I got my taco pro for 41k. Sticker was 46 something. Lots of emails and 2 times to the dealer for 7-8 hr days. Haggling ain’t for everyone but was worth it to me. Got an asinine trade for my 2nd gen as well towards my pro.

My first car was a 1991 4Runner and I loved it! I've been toying the idea of going back to a 4Runner for the past couple years, prob a new one like yours if I do. Really like the color you went with, looks great

I see this all the time. the funny thing is the 4Runner with the back seats down has way more room (except for height) than the tiny bed in the taco. I keep a couple of 4 x 4 mats in the back of my 4Runner and have no problem hauling anything you could put in the bed of a taco.

My brother runs 4Runners, really nice vehicles, way more comfortable then my 2nd gen when I had it, rode better, nicer interior, but it's made to be an upper tier vehicle not a truck. Nice looking rig.

Trying to talk the wife out of her Camry into a forerunner. I love that color. I looked at them before I got the truck but I kinda have to have a truck.

Bullshit! Haul a dirt bike in the back of your 4Runner. How about a dresser, couch or refrigerator? What about gas cans, sod, tanbark etc. I’m glad it works out for your needs but there is no replacement for a truck bed to haul stuff.
