What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

All the paint. Inside / out...

 

Itll take 30 mins or less to do a majority of the truck. My OCD doesn't allow that but itll keep anything from touching the paint for 4-6 months. When it rains it's fun to watch. It doesn't give you the slick feeling like wax but it sure seals the hell out of the paint.

 

New shoes. I got a good deal (less than $700 out the door for all 4), but the OEM tires lasted me til 80,000 miles.

 

Well, East Coast Gear Supply really came through and sent me a whole new axle housing and third.



Got it all swapped in yesterday and rewelded my shock tabs for my bamf shock relocation.



While I was at it, I swapped out my brake lines that I've had for over a year and installed my kb voodoo bedrail caps.





And built and installed some bedside stiffeners.

 

Changed my plugs today. With the s/c on. Fun times.

 

What plugs did you go with?

 

Took the Tacoma for a road trip to Vermont and New Hampshire .

Yes it is. They were super friendly on the phone and had it to me on Friday. Less than 5 days from the initial call.

What headlights are those?

 

Today I changed my spark plugs on my 2007 DCSB. It has 155,972 miles on it today. I find it hard to believe that it still was running with what I took out of it. 3 of the plugs look like they could be original. It only took me about 3 1/2 hours and a little blood and sweat. The right side was easy. The left side (driver) however was not so easy but I worked thru it. I changed the oil last week and my next project it the rear diff. Front brakes follow that.

 

That looks good. I'm wanting to do that to mine.
