today has been my first "day off" in who knows how long

 

I'm still waiting for you to bring that enduro up to the cabin.

 

Mason & Alek (sp ?) It was so awesome meeting you and talking with you. I really enjoyed it! I can't wait to see a pic of drafting table setup.

I came home and Deb told me the basement toilet looked like it might have a leak. She turned off the water to it. So ran back out and bought a repair kit and had the whole thing in pieces. Not what I wanted to do. But shit happens.

It was also great seeing Peter and Chris and Jim again!

Also liked meeting all the new people! All in all it was a great day!

 

I shall attend thee next one.

 

Here's what you missed if you weren't there today.

So first the back story........

As you know, we live in Harford County. One day while getting gas at a local Wawa I saw this truck with these reall cool bedside decals of the Maryland flag in the state outline. I thought it was so freaking cool! Fast forward to June of 2017 and I take delivery of the Taco. I find the forum, join and I'm immediately invited to the Maryland thread.

On the first post I see those bedside decals and I was blown away! Come to find out, the truck I saw that day was the OPs truck @ST3VE !!!

Well, I knew one day I'd have to do the same thing. There are even posts in this thread of me asking Steve and other members how to get them. Apparently the guy originally making them stopped and they were not being made anymore so I was Shit Outta Luck. Or so I thought.

I ultimately found the @CBoy808 bedside decal thread. By now though I knew I was trying to go with a blacked out theme. So the original decals would have to be modified. Conor worked with me above and beyond and let me design a new version.

The outcome is not only incredible, it pays Homage to our founding OP and everything the thread stands for!

I know a lot of people like the bare bedside but I'm not one of them, especially on the long bed.

Us guys up there trail ride atv's, dirtbikes, SxS's & trucks almost every weekend. You're more than welcome to come up any weekend and ride with us, don't have to wait for a TW meet.

 

I'm also Maryland born and Maryland bred but I hope to be WV dead. Imo this state is turning into a shithole, specially Baltimore.

On a whole, it has it's good spots and bad spots and Baltimore is like any other larger city with a lot of problems. I for one can't stand working in the city but the pay is great and conditions are even better, for both of us, so unless someone wants to pay us as much to work anywhere else nice, like say Hawaii, then here we'll stay. I guess.

 

That's why I'm still here, the money. Jobs in WV don't pay like here. It's getting bad in the city, even here in canton. House around the corner from my work just had the front steps stolen! You can't have anything.

 

The steps? How the eff do you steal concrete steps?
