If your tires are an E load then it'll feel like a roller coaster. Try airing the tires down.

It is a truck and rides like one. If you are used to a car or unibody SUV it will seem like a rough ride.
If you don't hear any weird noises it is probably fine, just something you need to get used to.

Changing tires and suspension for a softer ride is far cheaper than changing the truck.

Of course the dealer wants you to trade it; more money for them. If you like everything else about the truck i would look into fixing the suspension to your liking. That will be alot cheaper than the hit youll take trading it. What area of Texas are you in?

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Put a couple of hundred pounds in the bed to preload the suspension and itll ride like a Cadillac

Basically. Keep the truck for 2-3 years and you might not be upside down so much at least.

The TRD Sport models have a lot stiffer suspensions (coils and shocks) For better on-road performance. If you can, go back to your dealer and try out a TRD Off Road. They have softer shocks and progressive coils.

Or, just keep the truck for a little while longer. If it only has 500 miles on it, then give the suspension a little time to break in. It won’t be much, but it might help.

    Just my $0.02

Your best hope is in complaining to the dealer that they sold you some BS and you want your money back, because that's not a thing.

To elaborate - you bought a base model truck that the dealer added some stickers to and likely charged you too much money for. Possibly they added some springs that are too stiff that is making it ride poorly. Maybe find out if that's the case and see if they can swap them back out for the stock ones.

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
You DO NOT have a "sport" --they don't come with a 4 cyl. The "TSS" you mentioned stands for "Toyota Saftey sense"
Your best bet if you don't like the ride and/or can't get used to it, is to have she shocks swapped out and carry around a little extra weight in the bed (2 75lb sandbags will do it -one over each wheel well.(IT will NEVER dide like a Cadillac as one has suggested. Stupid -I know , but it will help your "rough ride" The topper idea is good as well. I use mine as a truck (a lot) and I have a SR5 with a topper and air-bags to help with heavy loads. My ride improved a lot when I added the air bags.
Or -- if you hate it that much --bite the bullet and take the loss -- You may do better selling your truck to a private buyer (NO trade-in). Sell yours sat a cheaper price than the dealer would sell one new -- someone may "bite" . Then take the loss and buy a ridgeline (get ready --they are not cheap) Ridgelines ride like a car --BECAUSE THEY ARE A CAR --with a truck bed formed into the backend.
    Good luck!
One more thing I must add -- next car/truck purchase --do more research before buying!

They don’t make a 4cyl double cab TRD Sport.

I think we are getting punked.

The TSS "he" mentioned is Toyota Sport Series. Its a package available in the Gulf States Region. It adds T-Force wheels, 265-65-17 Rugged Terrain tires, nerf bars, and floor mats.

While Toyota safety sense is a thing, the TSS package is an add on common to gulf states Toyota as they are a separate entity from other Toyota dealers in the US. They have a lot of additional port add ons not seen elsewhere.

Edit: looks like I was beat to the punch.
