I have a build thread on another forum, I really don't want to migrate it but I suppose I should

I’m not a mechanic and don’t have a lot of experience modding vehicles. Got the truck to learn and figure it all out. We’ll see where it goes!

LS swap later? SAS? Who knows

Got my sliders and ifs/transmission skids on today with the help and expertise of @Steawy27!

I popped a few clips for the brake line that I should have kept, but I was able to zip tie this line out of the way of the bolt so it doesn’t rub. I’ll have to grind this little guy down for clearance.

Nice grab off of @Geremy. I've been quite happy with my Mobtown skids and sliders.

It really was. He’s a good dude!

I’m stoked that they’re what I was wanting to begin with and didn’t have to settle for different ones.

I kept hearing this noise for weeks intermittently. Sometimes while the engine was on, sometimes off. When I closed the passenger door, it would squeak. It sounds a little different in the video, but was a very distinct chirp. After ruling our UCAs, body mounts, and belts, we finally figured out that it was a loose A/C line that just needed to be tightened down!

I have a clunk/click happening at acceleration, deceleration, and some turning. After shaking and pulling on the entire truck, I narrowed it down to my SPC LR UCAs with a bad heim joint. They sent me new ones (at a $600 core charge) and I’m going to get with Tandem about the swap.

Edit: That fixed the issue I was having! Now my LCA bushings are creaking :annoyed:

@Taco16Jessy sent me the TVD vinyl decals to black out my interior chrome for TWSS! I might have to redo the cup holder section because it’s looking janky. There were a lot of scratches and I don’t think the vinyl was adhering properly.

Now accepting monetary donations for mods!
The seller says if you have any mishaps h'ell send out more cuts. You're welcome to contact first. But if he gives you grief I'll send the request in. Needs to be somewhat warm for them to stick proper. Heat gun and letting them sit for a minute before peeling helped me. My cupholder one looks janky. But I didnt follow directions nor have the patience. So keep trying for perfection!

I couldn’t hardly get the contact plastic away from the vinyl! I followed the instructions perfectly. I’ll see how it fares over the next week when the bubbles disappear
